I did just that, purchased the game RO over Steam, what a BIG MISTAKE..!!! Pay but no play....hours to download....crashes compter with blue screen of death...
This may have to do with the fact i am UK based. Not sure, the guys at Steam wont say, just keep telling me " go to forums.." GREAT HELP !! NOT !!
every time i try running the game i get BSOD'ed with error message PAGE_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA , not good....lol.... so please dont go there, wait till it hits the stores in Europe. Unless anybody has any solutions to the problem. But as games go it looks AWESOMME....so if there are any clever peeps with a solution, I would be for-ever appreciative....:(

Any Idea if the game will be made available to buy over the counter in Australia at some point in the future? I'm not really concerned but it will mean more Aussie servers and better latency etc.

where is the us retail version available?

i checked every major outlet in los angeles today.... its sat. 3/18 and not one place in la has it even on order.....
the only place i found the retail version is at amazon.com but it wont ship there for 2 weeks..... so does anyone know when it will actually be av. ?????

judging by some of the comments here... i hope waiting for the retail version of RO won't be like waiting for the panthers to arrive before launching operation zitadelle....

When it is on the shelves in the USA, It will be posted by someone. Then go to that store website and order it online then. If u dont have credit card then your "SOL"

Bad thing is that most people that are waiting for the box version don't have credit cards so Gogamers doesn't help me much.:(

Best Buy told me the 22nd aswell, but oddly enough, they don't have it listed anywhere on there webite. :confused:

Thats funny cause they told me the same thing.I'm constantly checking Best-Buys website and can't find anything either.

Have the game via steam, but I'll probably still get a boxed version... and yes, Best Buy does not have the game listed... so hopefully they will actually carry it when they say they will carry it.
