Reconnaissance , Radio gameplay ideas

As title says i think red orchestra has the potential to implement something that i believe its quite simple to manage and i believe also that could stimulate people to play with cooperation more effectively.

As far as i know a cool mod ,that is offcourse darkest hour , made possible to use radioman to call artillery strikes, this indeed is the first move but not so near to the easy concept i'm advancing :

Radio comunication and Reconaissance.

Often with or without ts you never know what you may appear in a village or expecially in a tank map , for example after a huge hill you dont know if after it there will be some tank hiding and waiting for you.

So that why dont you put some nice armored reconaissance for both faction and some more option to the Tank commander/Officer , which allow them to :

1) Instead calling airstrike with left click with binoculars on, it would be nice another key which allow them to point the tank/infantry and via script broadcasting to the team the quadrant where the enemy were spotted.

This provide istant intelligence, less "bla bla" in ts or internal voice chat.

2) Put some sort of Open Platoon/division (like battlefield 2142), people so may join for example division A with 4 slot where the tank commander can spot enemies with binocs so that radio comunication mentioned in the point 1 are only directed to the group he is leading (also he could choose which people could hear it by "highlighting" or "lighting-off" simply the groups formed during the game with a simple click of mouse) and ofcourse same criteria for infantry divisions with 6-8 slot...

This to provide less spam in teamchat for recon comunication and a easily way to understand if the enemy spotted is around your combat area or not.


Probably i'm only a dreamer but if it would be like this i would enjoy better this kind of game.
