That would make for epic teamwork in MP!
I reckon, I've only ever read one account of the night vision in action with no great juicy details. Basically a pair of Tigers were knocking out every Churchill in sight in the pitch dark at around 400-500 meters along the Siegfried line near the end of 1944. The British were mystified by the accuracy in the dark, especially as they hadn't fired or given their position away.
