Try the BF2 version then?

BF2 version is very fun, but I don't like how the guns are. Since the BF2 engine can't have any sway whatsoever when you're aiming down the sights, the guns always feel odd with the accuracy system they made.

I know what you mean

I think the greatest thing about PR is that 75% of people have a mic. Youre actually fully expected to have one and use it if you jump in a squad. Its even better the server forces you to use Mumble so you can hear the enemy talking behind a wall.. brilliant!

But yeah, RO2 is still realistic, just not on Territory (imo). More people need to play Countdown with me :(

I understand the concept i just dont understand why they used BF2 and ArmA as their base games.

Couldve made an awesome game out of UDK instead of a mod.

(and earn money out of it as well)

I'd rather not wait 1 hour to get to the actual engagement. To sit outside a village with no patrols around it whatsoever. To spot 10-20 enemy soldiers there. Then to have our infantry squad leader, who is leading 30 players, call in 2 players to gun everything down with their Apache helicopter.

ArmA is pretty but,......I didnt like having to have several keyboards to map the tons of keys you need to use ,....I did not enjoy the 2 days of mapping keys for every possible function
(realism gone too far) & then after a week of setup I had to print out SEVERAL cheat sheets
Of each of the 3 functions each key on your keyboard has , because I could never remember them all ......ya then traveling for an hour to the combat zone into an ambush ....its realistic ,....I guess....

I'll wait for a RO2 version,.....

I think the days of expecting realistic games are over. We are stuck with the CoDs and BFs and RO2s. Yep, I just lumped RO2 with those other games. Same thing in a different setting.

lol.. realism?

Just watched a gameplay video, the soldiers run about as fast as I walk IRL.

Er, weird. Are there two different games? I noticed in some videos soldiers run slow, but in another gameplay video it looks much better.

Wow. Sounds like you have no freaking idea what you're doing. :p Or even talking about for that matter.

Yeah, ARMA is pretty complex. Not everyone can handle it it's true. But don't knock the game just because of your own inadequacies.

BF2 version of PR is amazing yes, but RO2 is plenty of realistic for me, it'll get better with time. THEY HAD TO RELEASE THE GAME NOW, this is what most people don't understand they still have a LOT of changes and addons planned for the game, it'll get better with time guys jesus. If you don't like it don't play it simple.. Stay away from these forums and go play on your little PR forums etc.

Unfortunately it's based on the ARMA engine and netcode, both of which are utter ****e.

Yeah, because so far RO2's code has been running perfectly... /sarcasm
But I don't think it's relevant, RO2 is an awsome game, just hope it'll get fixed properly, we're here to play RO2 not ARMA2.
