The LAW is a joke. Make the game a bit more faithful to the original Killing Floor and it wouldn't be, and the game would get the challenge we're looking for.

It needs a buff.

I think the weight of it is just fine, but it needs to be on par with a crossbow headshot, in my opinion. Crossbow's getting nerfed, so perhaps the LAW should take its place for its ability to insta-kill?

Price should be increased if necessary.

In a game where tongue-in-cheek irony and satirical humor are prevalent, having a uselessly awesome weapon like the LAW could never be categorized as worthless! I still get a crack out of players that do the patriarch a favor by trying to launch a rocket through the back of a teammate's head.

If for nothing else, the LAW excels at imbuing its user with comedic timing. That alone makes it far from a waste of money.

It needs more power so it can get out of the joke zone to the okish (idk if that's a word) zone, but the rocket launcher on the 'WTF' mod is pretty fun. And maybe reduce the weight by one for pipes.

who really is that 1 guy who wants the LAW nerfed? And how would you nerf it any more than it already is?

Lmao, it was me, i dont think its possible to nerf it anymore without it healing the specimens

In all seriousness though id say it needs a buff, the LAW can be devastating if the oppurtunity arises, like 32 lower tier specimens all grouped together behind a door for example, dead instantly

But that very very rarely happens

LOL yeah, actually I ALMOST voted that too such for laughs.

But yeah LAW is absolutely useless and its only good for moderate "fun", especially if you enjoy getting killed by it.

I mean, look at this...

Good Sides

- Can take out a large group of little trash like crawlers (but the grenade launchers can do that aswell)
- Can stun a scrake on a direct hit (but does poor damage on him, and when he rages you are most likely dead)

Bad Sides

- Weights so much that only a support specialist can carry it with a backup weapon
- Has only 12 to 15 rockets
- Cannot be fired from the hip
- Must be fired at medium/long distances, kills you up close and damages you at medium distances.
- Costs a lot compared to its usefulness against other weapons of similar prize
- Rockets cost quite a lot
- The blast damage doesnt even kill gorefasts on 6 man suicidal, and not even bloats on a direct hit as far as I remember (confirm anyone?)
- The rockets are somehow what buggy, sometimes firing them over certain obstacles cause you to lose 80% of your HP/armor even tho the rocket exploded on the other side of the map..
- Scrakes have overall explosive resistance
- Fleshpounds have 50% resistance to LAW rockets -_-
- Long reload, over 3 seconds
- Sirens can destroy the rockets at mid air
- Cant be fired in midair (eg. while jumping or falling) because sights cant be used while in midair

So basically LAW is only good for the smaller crap, but even the 9mm is more reliable especially at the hands of a sharpshooter. Heck you would be better off with knife than the LAW.

They seriously need to puff its damage so it can wipe out most specimens on single hit and even do some serious damage to fleshpounds. I mean come on, you cant even bring a backup weapon without being Support class so its not like you are going to be more devastating than any other perk having only 12 rockets (15 if support). On suicidal you have hundreds of specimens on a later wave so 12 rockets isnt that much.

THIS

Also, the LAW should totally be the medic weapon. Firing gigantic explosive healing darts where the glass shards will cut people and leave trace healing juice in the wounds which then instantly heal up.

The LAW is already becoming a joke and now with your idea it will become worst than before.

Just play the WTF mutator at all times. The LAW suddenly becomes a bloody kick in the pants.
