Range of infantry weapons

I have noticed at oneof my testmaps that some infantry weapons have only a limited reach. With sMG ,IMG and sniper rifle my target taken damage at 600 meters but no damage on >700meters .
Is my presumption correct!?

I dont think so, SMGs usually lose power at about 200 plus metres anyway, (in ww2, there are account of MP40 rounds bouncing off Germans trenchcoats from captured allies from about 200 metres away) LMG rounds shouldn't do negligable damage, as they are rifle rounds. Are you sure you are hitting it in centre mass?
I think the damage to arms legs etc. is nerfed at that range in my exp anyway.
