While we have a seperate gun thread, i thought we could maybe start a thread about random militaria. From helmets to clothing to badges to whatever! As long as it has to do with the army! Today and from the past!
Something firearm related(The actuall guns) can go in the gun thread=

sometimes a man comes across a oppertunity. An great oppertunity, one wich will influence his life

I had that oppertunity yesterday

So i bought 10 DDR helmets intented for the North vietnamese army for 50 euro. 5 Euro per helmet! Dirt cheap i say!
A few i am gonna resell to friends, while i am gonna keep 6-7 for private use during airsofting
Spoiler!

A DP-28 pan magazine also arrived. I plan to have a small section dedicated to the Russian army of WW2.A mate did it with the german army. In wich i will buy in the future a DP28(Demilitazired according to the law)
Spoiler!

I have 3 bajonets of the Kalashnikov. One of the AK 47(Bottom one), the type 1. One of the AKM(The coloured handle one) And a third DDR bajonet, but i cant find it for the moment, it is the same as the AKM but black. I am gonna use these for airsofting. Some friends i have from denmark once got attacked by a Dog.Since we also go airsofting in the meuze valley, there's always a chance for wild boars and such(Legal events ofcourse, we have our private terrain aswel)
Spoiler!

A 1980 Medic bag, for games in wich we need a medic. Also a canteen and a type A assault vest. A early one, as there is no attachment for the Type B bandolier and grenade pouch These are all russian btw.
Spoiler!

Russian camoflage is great camoflage. my KSZ camo pullover and Assault vest.
Spoiler!

For all this above, i spended just under 200 euro. That's little, because if i go to a militaria fair i can sell this probaly for double the price
