Random idea: flamethrower/flamethrower tank?

you know, portable flamethrowers only had a few seconds fuel. And if the tank got shot, well you blew up. As sick as I think it would be, idk if its worth it.

Im just going of some basic knowledge of Company Of Heroes, but how about a flemenwerfer halftrack, the room for troops is taken up by the tank of compressed gas or petrolium and it has two flame throwers one on each side located just infront of the half tracks front axle, which can pivot etc. People may say this is useless as it was used infrequently on the eastern front, but surely in a game which strives for the most realistic experience possible, then even the most tiny, insignificant details should have some sway. In addition what about a "walking stuka" for the axis and a katushka (sp?) truck for the ruskies.

Something used infrequently on the battlefield renders it "inaccurate" in a gaming sense. Sure there may have been 3 that saw use, that doesn't mean it should be implemented. To keep these games realistic is to portray the norm, not the exception. An unwritten rule most people don't take into account when thinking of these suggestions.

Although, I would not mind if flame-throwers were added in a way that doesn't affect game-play much. (IE: One per match and no refueling possibilities.) Even if, not worth it.

Just my 2 cents.

Now, should we model beards to every soldier because I have seen more or less bearderd soldiers in original photos? Hmmhmm.

Again, I personally say it would be something very neat and cool if it could be implemented in similiar fashion as it is in RTCW or RTCW:ET, but then again it may not be worth it after all.

How difficult would it be do design a Flamethrower??

There are some vids on youtube of the RMF mod experimenting with a flamethrower it looked pretty good.-
