Most of you know by now that I absolutely hate what UBI has done to the franchise since Ravenshield, so I won't dwell on that.

But what I ask myself, without having seen the trailer: How on earth can they justify the "Patriots" subtitle, when R6 is a multinational anti terror organization that operates globally, indipendent of country?

Now even if I don't care for the series anymore, I think it's a new low, possibly of "R6:LetDown" depth if it turns into a US-Flag-waving gun porn.

I always had a lot of fun with most the Tom Clancy games so im interested in this game too.
I dont really mind that R6 isnt what its used to be, Vegas was already not a 'real' R6 anymore, but I still loved the game for what it was.

I like the current cover, dont know if its official or not:

Patriots may well refer to the people you are fighting against. Who may call themselves Patriots. From the video, this seems the likely case. :IS2:

That's what I thought too. Seeking revenge for the murder/kidnapping/brutalizing of your "sexy enough for kids to fall in love with her within a couple of seconds of screen-time but not sexy enough to look like a hooer" wife and robbing you of the convenience of being able to "Kiss Wife [ ]" isn't a particularly patriotic motivation.

Unless you're married to AMERICA! But I don't think the game is that meta.:p

Oh wow, I think you're on to something here.

The wife is a metaphor for America and the kid, who we didn't see and have little proof exists, is a metaphor for God.

I believe the guy who gets dropped off the bridge is actually the main character and he'll be resurrected in 3 days and come back as Jesus Christ.

"Target gameplay" as in "this is how we want our gameplay to look like", although cutscenes and QTEs take more place than actual gameplay in the demonstration.

Also, f-yeah, 'murrica!

What first trailer? I thought the only thing that was out was the target gameplay footage linked in the OP of this thread.
