The video card you have is around the same level as my 5650m I believe. Medium should not be a problem, probably a medium-high mix. Your i7 grossly outclasses my i3, so its simply your video card holding you back.

I don't trust specs until I get in game. The specs for bad company 2 are a dual core at 2.0 ghz and a video card with at least 256 mb. I have a dual core amd at 3.0 and an 8800gtx with 768 mb and I still lag in that game at low settings. I have no idea why but I can't play it very well online without a ping of at least 200

i do agree but at the same time not all games utilize GPU's so it mght not make a diffrence if the game is gpu intensive. for example BFBC2 is horibly optimized. Someone with the same graphics card but an i3 could run it the same rate as me.
