I have questions that no one else has asked....

1: Will there be hull machine gunners on tank only maps?

2: Will the commander be able to look out the hatch and carry an SMG and sidearm?

3: Can a crew member switch positions with a dead one? Like say if the gunner was killed could the commander take his place?

4: What happens to a tank that is immobilized but not entirely destroyed??

5: Can people spawn inside tanks that are already deployed?

6: Will the IS2 THE GREATEST TANK OF WW2 make a comeback? :IS2:

Yes. At least that's said in the RPS interview:

"If an AI crewmember is killed the player will need to move to the position of the dead crewmember to perform the function of that crewmember. And transitions to the position of a dead crewmember will be a real first person animated transition that will take time. The good news is, if you lose a crew member you can go to a vehicle resupply station and get your tank reinforced with fresh crewmembers."

It would be interesting to hear an estimate about how long the transition would take.

There should be, but I can only think they'd be useful if a tank crew were unbuttoned. Nothing more annoying than having your MGer give away your position with tracer fire.

2: Will the commander be able to look out the hatch and carry an SMG and sidearm?

I doubt it, though it'd be cool.

3: Can a crew member switch positions with a dead one? Like say if the gunner was killed could the commander take his place?

Yes (as above)

4: What happens to a tank that is immobilized but not entirely destroyed??

It can be "scuttled" by its crew

5: Can people spawn inside tanks that are already deployed?

If the tank is not locked, I'd assume.

6: Will the IS2 THE GREATEST TANK OF WW2 make a comeback? :IS2:

God I hope not ;)

Tank crew will spawn INSIDE their tank, and won't be able to exit, so they won't need sidearms or smg.

6: Will the IS2 THE GREATEST TANK OF WW2 make a comeback?

It was never away in the first place, i'm sitting in one right now

A lot of questions are answered here:

However I thought they were modeling pistol ports.

I meant by using a pistol/SMG to shoot it while your looking outside the hatch, not getting out of the tank entirely.

Oh and pistol ports? They really had those?

I have to disagree on this one. In combined arms maps, anti-tank infantry is a big problem for tanks. I should hope that pistol ports, grenade ports, and even the ability to unbutton and wield a weapon are included.

And these ports were one reason why tanks were so dangerous. You would never know if you get shoot every second when you come from the side

Awesomeness.... This is a reason to give the whole crew pistols and the commander an SMG even though they can't get out, they can use it for pistol ports!

I hope your right and they can unbutton and use their weapons, but i haven't seen it confirmed anywhere.

What about non player slots? Will the tanks have loaders and radio operators? Also, what about if say, the loader gets killed but the gunner lives (for tanks that had that two seperate).
