Question to Tripwire - why I lost precious halloween item?

Hi,
A week ago I started KF2 and my character was reseted - no hat, backpack etc, I moved iside GEAR menu and I found that my precious halloween gold wings disapeared. Could you tell me what was happend? Who and why deleted it?
This item was not tradable. I have proof - screenshot during my gameplay that I had it.
I'm very dissapointed about this.

There was a bug that players would see a few items available to them in the gear menu in game that they did not actually have. This can be checked by looking into one's Steam account. If the item is not in the Steam inventory but is in the gear, that means there is an issue within our game showing incorrect items. Apologies for the inconvenience and confusion.
