Question about the appearance of veteran players ingame...

As you level up your appearance will change to a more old and "war experienced" soldier.

The question is: How are tripwire/servers admins/whatever are going to prevent every soldier to look the same ?

This is Stalingrad... You would not see a veteran soldier that often.

Each class has a different uniform as it is, this will make a veteran rifleman distinguishable from a veteran squad leader and so on. Also I believe there are badges and decorations and various gear available that will help visually distinguish you from other players of the same class.

What I'm trying to say is: It would be strange to have all riflemen in a team dressed like a veteran with scars, dirt uniforms and balaclavas.

Each class has a different veteran uniform as stated above...

So while you may not see an Army of veterans, they're still wearing pieces of uniform that were available to say the Wehrmacht at the time, which means even if your whole squad is wearing winter smocks it won't be wrong. It's not like veterans are getting equiptment that is unavailable to the standard soldier (in WW2 - obviously in the game the standard soldier will not be able to don said winter smock for example.)

I think he means what would distinguish one rifleman from anothem when they both have the same rank and inevitably end up with the same badges, etc.

Hopefully there is a slight diversity in player skins for the same roles of the same status, I totally understand the OP's concerns. Not sure if beta testers can share this or we'll have to wait and see for ourselves.
