The delay was ONLY two weeks. That's a very short time in a games development cycle. VERY short.1. If they're delayed less than a week after pre-orders start and not long after the RELEASE DATE is announced, yes, I am disappointed. It was bad planning on TWI's part.
You can blame TWI all you want, but video games being delayed is nothing unheard of, it happens all the time. It even happens to big developers, tho more rarely, since they can borrow people from other projects to help out with the project that has fallen behind schedule. TWI does not have this luxury.
Why are you disappointed that they are working hard and trying to polish the game as much as possible before it releases? Would you rather it have bugs and that might be easily exploitable by hackers?
And again, the delay is not half a year, it's not a couple of months, it's JUST two ****ing weeks.
You are wrong.2. The "no telling date"-policy causes even more grief to them imho. Just look around here and on steam forums. How many posts a day about "WHY NO BETA" "WHEN IS BETA" "WAT IS BETA DATE"?
Also, it's not that they don't want to tell us, it's that even they are not 100% sure yet when they will be ready to move on to the final stage of beta.
Are those hats integral to you enjoying TF2? Did you pre-order RO2 mainly because of those hats?3. Well, that's good. My hats don't show up for anyone else. Which results in me being not very happy about it.
Exercise some god damn patience!
PS! Sorry if I sound a bit hostile.
