Anyway, i would suggest modelling the Panzer IVF instead of the D. The F is basically the same as the F/2 we have ingame except it has a shorter barrel, which would mean less modelling (even though theres not a huge difference between the F and the D anyway). Also, in this game the F would fare better vs. the russian tanks... the D was paper thin (20mm sides, 30mm front, 35mm mantlet), and although the F is also pretty thin (30mm sides, 50mm front, 50mm mantlet) it will still fare better vs. the russian tanks.
Plus you could add a paint scheme and not just grey, as all the D's were originally that dull panzer grey.
And let me point out a few inaccuracies for you... First off, the counterweight on the back was traditionally only used on the panzer IV's utilizing the longer, heavier, 75mm gun... although they did sometimes find their way onto the shorter barrel models. Secondly, the sides of your panzer IV go straight from back to front (hard to point out using just words), whereas IRL the tank's upper side armour, when coming to the front, curved inwards slightly as shown in this picture.
Look to the right of the drivers viewport and you can see that the side armour curves in towards the front ot the tank, it's identical on the other side.
You can see it more clearly in this screenshot taken from the most WWII game to date.
Take note of the gun, and the absence of a counterweight.
Also, you're turrets sides are too steeply angled, and the turret is generally mishapen.
I'm not trying to nitpick, but you to design even more realistic tanks.
