Not as Op as the scar D:

All this 'Modern stuff' doesn't really fit into KF IMO. IE, the magical sights, the Grenade launchers...

I suggest heartbeat sensor rof rof.

The SCAR has to bee overpowered cuz the commando is weak as it is. Even it being overpowered, you can't solo a FP on suicidal. If it was underpowered, the commando will be rendered close to or perhaps useless.

Also for a suggestion, Zone Names on scoreboard. Mappers can utilize this so other players know where others are.

Just get somebody to talk via team chat or bring up the player stats with the tab or f1 key. Actually nvm this shud be added.

I was actually looking at the M4A1 and the M341 wen I comented on that post he he, it's too American and OP for KF.

M134? It would indeed be overpowered. At it's lower rpm configuration, it still fires at 3000rpm. At it's higher rpm, 6000rpm. About the same damage as the SCAR or M14 with 5000 rounds to spam.

The M4 could be balanced, 30 rounds, up to 40, same damage as the L22 and slightly faster rpm. There.

The scar in KF and MW2 is the Scar-H, but ofcourse since IW have no idea, its really bulky and short with lots of white hand grips stuck on it.

You sure they're the same? I thought the one in MW2 was the SCAR-L.

Though i look at a MW2 site and i stand corrected.

It should really be semi-auto though. That's the reason nobody used the M14 on full-auto.

EDIT: By short do you mean the barrel is short? Because the SCAR comes with 3 barrel lengths.

FN SCAR-H look sexy but the unusual reload animation is very annoying. I prefer L22 which is a very simple and fast reload.

Three minor extra-challenge ideas:

1. Server-side option to get rid of the display telling you what wave it is and how many zeds are left.

2. Client-side option to leave the grainy film effect on during play.

3. ????-side option to hide how many shots are left in your gun. (though really half the time I don't even look...)


And another suggestion I keep forgetting to add: Have the player character avoid saying "New mag!" and the like while reloading weapons that would not call for a "new mag".

No I mean every weapon in MW2 has white hand guards and grips stuck to all sides of the gun because it is set about 6 years in the future.

These are my suggestions hopefully it will come in handy.

1. Remove the hefty price tag of MP7 so that beginner medics can buy it.
2. Prolong the duration of a specimen on fire.
3. Increase M14 recoil, reduce clip size to 9 and slightly increase the cost of it by 100 dosh.
4. Return the original headshot multiplier of chainsaw to 1.1.
5. Fix the 9mm ammo bug.
6. Fix the bug when crossbow are zoom in and quickly switches to handcannon the screen will still magnify like a crossbow does.
7. Increase crossbow price tag to 1000 dosh.

3 would start a flamestorm with the "unrealistic" mag size, and a +100 to the price would be nearly meaningless. Agreed wrt recoil though, and I think it should take up something like 8-10 blocks - there is absolutely no way in hell a full-sized battle rifle should take up less weight and bulk than a much shorter, collapsible AK.

I don't see the point of 7. Not only is it no better than any other weapon of similar price if you can't make reliable headshots, the bow takes up so much bulk that it seriously limits your options so even if you weren't earning scads of money you'd really have to know what you're doing anyway.

As for 1... it's been too long since I couldn't afford the medgun from the very start for me to comment, but I'd rather see a variant with no healing dart which could go for a reasonable price and would count as a commando weapon.

Regarding your comment on option 3 i'm talking about clip size not mag size.

Clip size = total magazines

Mag size = total amount of bullets

Dude clip is something you load a magazine or internal magazine(shotgun, winchester) with and a magazine is what contains the bullets and you place in a gun. Many WWII guns and sniper rifle's had their magazine's reload with a clip. Magazine/Clip

IF the crossbow stays as powerful as it is in the next balance patch then it should at least be increased to 2500 to compensate for such power
