I haven't seen this anywhere, so I'm unsure that anyone has even thought of it. Excuse me if it has already been said and done, but would there happen to be a direct connection between Lee Child's Jack Reacher series of novels and the naming Tripwire Interactive?
As it so happens, "Tripwire" is the title of the third book in the series. The first book in the series, which came out 8 years before TWI was founded, is titled "Killing Floor," which happens to be the title one of TWI's awesome games; That novel takes place in the fictional town of Margrave, GA. The town of Margrave is directly South of Atlanta, while it appears that Roswell is about the same distance in the opposite direction, which a pretty direct shot to Atlanta as well.
If it is coincidence, I'd say it's pretty incredible.
