PS4 Save data to PS5

rumor has it some games save data will not work on PS5, maneater is one of them.

is this going to be an issue with KF2? rank 5 level 25 all gone?

can tripwire confirm this?

also will there be issues say if i decide to use PS5 for kf2 one day and then use PS4 the next day with the save file after i upload and download from ps plus, will the PS5 use the same format as the PS4 or will this cause a currpted file after confirming the save data issue?

any word on this topic?, PS5`s are rolling out soon and want to know if i should stick with my PS4 for killing floor 2 or proceed with the next gen console if theres no issues with save/inventory items.

Have the answer!

Cloud saves from PS4 will transfer to PS5. So to carry you're progress from PS4 you need to upload your save from the PS4 and then download it to the PS5 after you install the game on the new hardware.

just to add an update on the ps5, the save file works 100% without any issues, everything in the inventory loads very fast and crafting is quicker too i believe, highly recommend upgrading to PS5 for kl2 as this game runs very smoothly and not lagging on turning with analog sticks as ps4 has this issue.
