PS4 freezes often when joining a vs survival game.

Hi, any word on if you found the problem on PS4 where you get the infinite loading screen or even infinite lobby (that freezes) when joining a vs survival match?

QA is investigating this issue currently with the game soft locking while joining a VS Server. If you and other people who experience this issue could please post what Map and server settings you're trying to join into when this occurs that would help us narrow down the problem. Edit: Some strange problem with the attachments, removed them.
The maps that was in the match when loading for entering the lobby was: Evacuation Point and Burning Paris (Note, I've played at least Burning Paris before)

These two where regular survival, I could not get past that point. I tried 4 times in a row, and got the exact same problem each time. I power cycled (by recommendations) between each time to no avail, but then I changed the server filter to "Not started yet" and got in. I don't know if that was random or not, but I at least got in.

I tried US Central, US East and Europe as region (I belong in the Europe region) In the Europe region I could not find any game, I rarely can, no mather what time aday, so I think that might be another bug or something as I have friends that are able to play in EU region. Before you ask, all the appropriate ports are open on the router.

To me (without me being a specialist in these matters) it seems to be something going on in the API when it comes to server exchange, especially if the server is full or something. Maybe it's a case of server getting full while connecting and the API are having some problems sending the proper return, so because of that the game tries and tries to connect in a forever loop?

Thanks for the additional info, it's very helpful to the team. This is something we have seen on our end at present there doesn't seem to be 100% reproduce-able way to get this to occur. It is possible what you think is happening is the case but we're still investigating. Just for additional clarity to what you are experiencing, this frozen screen happen as you enter the Ready Up Lobby not during the loading screen? There could be two separate issues if one is an endlessly loading screen in which the screen is not frozen and the other is where the screen itself locks up entirely.

UPDATE: I rebuilt my playstation database (Option 5 when safe booting ps4) and for the first time I found two matches in a row for Europe region, I connect all fine to both survival and versus, no freezes. I even got a item today which is a first for me!
So 3 bugs that seems to be fixed! Awesome!

I'll post an update after I have tried a few more matches, but if you are having this problem it can't hurt to try to rebuild your ps4 database.

This issue seems to be happening in both cases, both when in lobby waiting to ready (it hangs the same second I get into the lobby) and while connecting to lobby.

As I write in my previous post I rebuilt my PS4 Database, this seems to have helped, I've seen no more issues today, and I have played a few more games, both survival and versus survival. Everything seems to be working great so far. I'll update if the situation changes.

Interesting, I'll have to investigate that more and see if that is a possible solution. Let me know if this issue happens again after you rebuild your database.

I rebuilded as well. Freezes every time when i search for a VS game. Still freezes after rebuild. In the last freeze i didn't have a ready up button at all. I can't do anything. I've searched in Europe Region.

Just a little update, no more crashes at all, i'm suddenly finding games in the Europe region, and I'm actually receiving daily loot.
I don't know if every issue solved is related to me rebuilding the PS4 database. Even though this is no "accepted" solution yet I feel you should probably add it as a trouble shooting step.

These freeze and lock up issues should now be fixed with Patch 1.03 for PS4 that is now live. Let me know if you experience similar issues post update.

Ok first, i really like the Game. Solo Game and normal Online Survival works fine and makes a lot of fun. Item drop rate is **** but thats a different story. The VS-Survival doesn't work...not one map. The Screen freezes everytime in the loading screen. Fu%&!ng infinite loading screen. Try it everyday and always need to close the Application. I'm extrem disappointed. This error is a long time known and nothing has changed since that. This is a big Game breaker because i can't play 100% from the Game...a fast fix would be nice.
