What about that new steam workshop? Can't it work with ro? Maybe it'll help to have a central place where we can see everything like in skyrim or tf2.

one problem is, all (?) of the available custom maps are still work in progress. (that doesn't make them unplayable in any regard, all of them i have played so far are very well done, some covernodes and other details are missing, no problem). once they are declared 'final' it would be best to include them in normal game updates, forcing all players to download them (for their own good).
It wouldve been better if maps could be easyer made like they were in Red 1 because you could modify almost anything in Red 2 is pretty much too restrictive.
What makes you say that? The only real issue atm is the bugs, other than that, people seem to do well with it.
In a way I kind of agree with him but only so much as class availabilities in RO1 changed from map to map, whereas in RO2 it's pretty much the same across the board save for maps with tanks.
It would have been better if we could have used the Red Orchestra Ostfront 1941/1945 SDK to create maps for Red Orchestra Heroes of Stalingrad. We could have created these levels back in 2009. It would have saved a lot of time.

Despite our differences previously I must say I almost like Mike now. Good of you to put these maps in. Too bad I am in EU so time and latency-wise it is not great for me but I might still hop on one of those servers (well Classic).

I believe there's also a French server called Hellsoldiers or so that I have played some custom maps on recently. Try to check out that one.

CLOWNS HEROES SERVER is in the US and we have the 3 available and working maps since the new patch up and working on our server and our server is in Classic Mode.
We try to keep 10 bots on and they auto-remove as people join so once you'd get 10 humans in the server no more bots.
