Hi all, you may remember me from such addons as Carpathian Crosses.
We ex-CCers (meaning myself, Karma, Greenhell and a few others) are developing a mod of UT3 called Project Steampunk: Conduct of War.
You can see the basic concept on our webbie. The idea is to submit an entry to the later stages of the Make Something Unreal competition and, in so doing, develop our skills on UE3.
This will put us in a perfect position in terms of skillset when 'RO2', or whatever it is called, is announced and released. Please bear in mind, however, that one of the main definitions of our various gameplay ideas is, 'Not like RO'.
So if you want an introduction to the world of UE3 mapping, coding and modelling etc. and are serious about committing your time to develop something which will look great in your portfolio then apply on our forums. There is not much to see in the public area yet but, if you regster and apply, there is some detailed discussion of the plans and work so far in the dev section.
