Hello! This is my first post so please go easy on me. I'm new to this game, and glad I discovered it as I've got a great interest in WW2 and this shooter ticks all the boxes of a realistic game, so far.

The only problem I've had is team killing. Not being killed by my own team, as I easily forgive, it must be an easy mistake, but when I kill one of my own, I curse myself! Now I've become a fairly competent shot with the Russian rifle, I've always known it as the mosin nagant but I believe it's called something different in game. At close range I'm fine with picking off enemies. But on large maps I struggle to make the decision whether someone is a friendly or not, and the chances turn out that I wait too long and get shot, or take the shot myself and get a satisfying enemy kill. What I ask is this, has anyone got any advice on how to distinguish the enemy at a distance? The only zoom option I have available us when I hold my breath with the weapon but that's all. I know the difference in uniforms is a clear winner to this question but at a distance in the fog or snow its quite difficult, especially on long maps like mamayev kugagen (apologies if that's split wrong)

Many thanks,

Smithy
