Hi all, I'm the clanleader of HNH Clan in Red Orchestra 2 We have recently opened a dedicated server on gameservers.com but we can not configure anything. Help me understand how to configure the server name and all settings.
The most serious problem is also that the server is not on the list server.
Here is the link GameTracker: https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/95.141.40.45:7777/
Thank you for your attention.
Sorry for the bad english i used google translate. : D

How long have you rented it?

I rented one and GameServers and later one at Multiplay, I immedietly submitted a refund request(They have a 5 day refund policy).

I would recommend Multiplay over GameServer any day, they let you modify your config files via their control panel. With GameServers I even had difficulties stopping my server.

Also, to make it ranked, you need to submit an application. Links are on those forums. :)

I've always had a gameserver server and I can control anything I like. You need to go to the RO WebAdmin configuration part of this forum.

http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=59949

You have to set everything up properly to get it working. There are a couple settings needed in a couple files those can be found in the forum from link I supplied and down at bottom of this post. Gameservers also doesn't use the default port 8080 and they change it. They've used 9020, 9021, and 8075. This is listed in ROWeb.ini here:

[IpDrv.WebServer]
ListenPort=

On Gameservers site you have control over shutting down, restarting your server and updating with new patches with the MOD button. If for some reason that MOD button install doesn't work you can submit ticket and tell them to update your server with latest patch.

You also will have FTP access to all your files so you can edit however you like.

They have a section on their site so you can edit your rogame.ini file easily.

Server name change here in rogame.ini

[Engine.GameReplicationInfo]
ServerName=

ROWeb.ini edit this to enable

[IpDrv.WebServer]
bEnable=true

If you follow mostly the forum post I linked you should be able to do anything and everything you need to for your Gameserver server.
