Any news on these yet or is it time to write them off as an advertising con.

You could get a refund pretty easily in that situation. Though I assume you'd rather have the items.

Ive had a long conversation with Steam support.

The keep saying its down to Tripwire.

They did offer to refund the full cost of the game, and remove it from my list, which inspite of the problems Im having with gameplay, I do not wish to do.

Like any consumer, I just want what I have paid for. Or the extra paid refunded.

In the meantime I have stopped buying from Steam. Bought MW3 at sendit.com and BF3 from Origin, as well as other games for younger family members.

Ive now got 11 hoours clocked in RO, most trying different set ups. Thats bad going, but game just isnt happening for me. Its getting better, and Im happy enough to wait for it to be sorted.

Ah I apologise. I remember someone else had a similiar issue and one of the devs suggested he contact Steam support. Clearly not the same issue as you

I would try pm'ing someone like Putz and see if he can help

We've tested this extensively in house. Every computer and account we have is properly receiving what they should.

Right now our coder who would be best to look into this is having a few days off but I'm leaving him a note to look into it.

Time to forget I have ever heard of this company and the game.

Made a few friends, but tbh, im just a UK bit of cannon fodder now. Everyone is well and truly ranked up, while those of us who paid for the add ons, are getting ripped off.

So well done Tripwire/Steam a good effort in robbing the unaware.

As a quick addendum, its the first time ever, i have been asked to reinstall a beta, after the release failled. I was a beta tester in iL2 sturmovitch and lots of games thereafter. How can we beta test, then install release, and then the devs ask us to reinstall the beta! unreal.......

What? Do you really have no idea how games are made, and how patches get testing before their release?

I can honestly say, in 20 odd years plus of gaming, I have never been asked to reinstall a beta, after game release......

I can also say, that all this time after release, I am still waiting for my pid for pre release unlocks...giggle.....

On the 27th Oct, Yosh said he would let his pal know, im still waiting. I have been very patient. Not had a single bit of response from TW.

Read ALL of my posts and 99% are supportive, including the problems I have had and the Beta has had. I am still on 11 hours played, as I suffer constant problems.

Dont be such a fan boy, and try and solve the issue, not flame it...

Try not to nerd rage at your keyboard as much. If it's not ok to flame, then don't flame the developers either. It doesn't have anything to do with being a fanboy. It's about being respectful.

Try verifying Steam cache for RO2 - or the old uninstall / reinstall trick. Its free of course,
and usually anytime anything is off like that -for whatever reason it works
