Hello, my friend who already owns RO1 plans to gift me Deluxe Edition of R02 via Steam. I read that owners of R01 get badges in RO2 if they buy Deluxe Edition. I do not have RO1 but I wonder if I get badges too if my friend (owner of RO1) gifts me RO2 deluxe?

I know old time gamers probably do not like my question and Im sorry. The reason is - money is short at the moment and I like badges ;) In case if I absolutley must have RO1 on my personal account to get the badges do I get them if I buy RO1 later after my R02 purchase and RO2 release?

Thank you a lot in advance.

Download an uncut patch after release. Otherwise not much is cut. No limb disemberment and a bit less blood afaik. Actually less blood is probably better if you're into eSport gaming anyway. Wont disturb your view :D

There is the Mkb42 because the STG44 saw action only from 1944.....and RO:HoS takes place in Stalingrad, 1942. ;)

Damn now I need to decide; shiny boxed version or pre-order with more stuff? Decisions decisions:confused:

Me too....:confused::confused:

I have a problem: I live in germany and here games release as cut versions usually.
How can i get the game uncut in steam?

Register an UK/USA Steam account? Or maybe try to change the Steam language, with some games it works :D

Yeah, I find it strange too, bit hypocritical imo

Unlocks and the inclusion of the weapons are two totally different mechanics. Don't get them mixed up.

Everybody will unlock the Mkb42 at some point.
Even without unlocks the Mkb42 is rare, only the hero has access (only 1 per whole team).

So 'unlocked' is something different than 'available'.
keep that in mind

Question, I've only got an e-mail saying the purchase went through. But nothing on my steam games list, is that whats suppose to happen?

I've never played RO but I just bought the DDE. Whether or not it's worth the extra money will depend on how soon the final beta opens up.

Game looks awesome

So the deluxe version is the only ones who get early acess to the beta right? The lower version doesn't get that right?

Also preordered the standard edition. I'll kick everybodies asses anyways. :D
The access to the open beta is nice and all, but I'll spend the last two weeks of August on an island without electricity, so it would be really pointless I guess.

It's "closed" beta, because only people who pre-purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition can get into, no one else. I think that those people willl receive a "beta key" or something like that into their Steam Accounts and pre-load to get into the beta < 3-5 days before game's premier date.
