In Europe we get stuff back for the stuff we pay in VAT. Now stop complain ffs.
Assuming that Valve pays these taxes to each respective state, from a number of undisclosed sales.
Shady business there.

Oh my gosh! Kruzifix...whatever!
I am upset and *issed and so on...quite about an hour before this post our much-loved german pre-order version hadn't had this mark "low violence version". I was willing to buy it at this moment until something happened with steam. Suddenly "friends" gone offline and my 20% discount wasn't shown anymore. Well, I thought I can buy it some minutes later and do the dishes for so long - that shouldn't be a problem. BUT what I am seeing now is just horrible!

I never ever gonna buy crappy cut stuff! Steam/Valve has to bring up some verification for the age of its customers like we Germans ASAP, goddam*!

I tended to buy the digital deluxe edition because of the two charakters for Killing Floor. If here is anyone who would "gift" me this version uncut from outer Germany I would be happy again  - Of course by adequate funding via Paypal.

I have one last question before I pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition, if I buy it with RO:OST will I get the badges and the bayonets? Or do I have to buy RO:OST first, install it and then pre-order RO:HoS?

[TW]Wilsonam, thanks for the reply. Again, I really didn't want to sound like a ***** or anything, I just wanted to know why they got it cheaper in the US. Of course the tax in european countries isn't your fault, and I completely understand that.

One more question: Will there be a deluxe RETAIL version too? Some games, like The Witcher 2, had a digital deluxe edition with some nice stuff, but there was also a retail version with physical bonuses too... is there planned something like that for RO2?

Now I'm "Officially" Excited!

I'm waiting for the cops any minute now to knock on my door for stealing from TWI lol. $40 bucks for "all" the goodies? hell, i would've paid $40 just for the Editor.

Thank You guys so much! TWI = First Class Studio All The Way!

Somebody ought to slap Valve and get a Steam announcement out there for RO2's preorder!

Wouldn't have known it was available to purchase without the forums.

Whats with the Day 1 unlock of the MKb42 and the AVT-40?

I thought they were supposed to be rare?

There is an announcement.

Restart Steam and it might pop-up, sometimes they don't unless you idle.

Does anyone have a rough guess as to how big the game data will be?
The cheap price for the game through Steam is really tempting, since Ordering the physical copy through the mail would cost me nearly $50. Unfortunately my bandwidth is a bit on the small side and downloads usually top 80 Kbs (and the line is shared in the house on different PCs). Will it be maybe around 5 gigs to download directly through Steam?

***EDIT***

Damn, Red Orchestra 2 is already at #2 with Steam's top selling list. A big thumbs up from me, Tripwire! :D
