If you like to pay 10 euros more just to get access to a 15 days beta... this is worst than what is doing activision with their CoD Map Pack.
I never thought a such thing could arrive to some dev as TWI but I was wrong. :(
It's not JUST the Beta they're incluing, there's a bunch of other stuff too.

We already pay less for the game than most game of this speculated quality =).

Ugh.. got a problem. I'd like to get the Deluxe Edition now. But since it is cut in germany... :/
If someone gifts it to me who also has RO1, does the 20% still work then?

OKAY, so I don't want to be an asshole, and I will pre-order the game from Steam anyway but...

... Didn't you guys (at Tripwire) say that the american price would be $40, and that the price in european countries would be ADJUSTED according to those areas? Now let me tell you, 35EUR is *NOT* the same as $40!! It doesn't take many seconds to find that out with a currency-calculator.

We europeans pay almost TEN euros more for THE SAME GAME than what the Americans do. Is that really fair? I mean, since you promised the prices would be adjusted, right here?

Again, I will pre-order the game anyway, and the price for the game isn't bad at all... but I just want to hear an answer, what the justification for the price-(IN)difference is.
I just think it's ridiculously unfair for europeans to pay more for the game than americans. Trust me, europeans don't sit all day with their monocles and top-hats on drinking tea while our slaves do our work for us. We're not THAT rich, and the average european doesn't make any more than the average american.

Edit: Now if the price for the game turns out to be more than $40 (maybe because that was the pre-tax price or something), or Americans don't pay tax for games, then that is more understandable. I don't mean to sound like ungrateful or an asshole or something, I just feel it's unfair if we have to pay a lot more, especially considering how it was officially stated that the price would be adjusted.
Agree on this,

But then I don't understand the following

Yes, 50 USD and 45 EUR for the Steam DDE. 45 EUR, drop the VAT, gives you 37.50 EUR (at 20% VAT) - which is $53.80 today. I'd say that is as close as we'll get :p

Looking at this logic (Wich is right I guess..) I cant understand how the game can be

Bought the deluxe edition, partly because of early access, partly because I expect you will deserve the money. Not to mention with the added discount for RO1 owners it's a great deal.

Would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for developing a shooter focused on PC. No tiny maps because of console limitations, proper consoles, loads of server settings, community maps and mods.. :)

I do not like the manear they have done such. They have tell us to stay tuned for open beta and they annunce us now to pay in more for the beta...
Incredible... bigger it is easier it can pass. For me this kind of bull**** can't pass.

Correction; they dont "owe" us a beta. Its just an incentive for use to buy the deluxe version. Any way, buying the deluxe version is still cheaper than what the game would be at full price.

For all those asking about when the beta access for pre-orders is going to start. It will happen before the release. That is all the info we're ready to give right now. Suffice it to say you'll get your hands on the game a lot sooner than everyone else :)

A lot sooner would be one month

No, it is cut :/ "Low Violence: Low Violence Version"
I would get it now... just need to know if someone from the UK for example can gift it to me? (and is it still 20% off then if he has RO1?)
