I have one question, not very important, but hey... Is the RO:OST game menu like the mod version or it has been changed, more "steam style?" I never liked the RO menus and menu sounds...I think they are too "futuristic" for such a realism game.

Wonderful question, I also think that the menu of RO mod ins't that good, hope them repair it.

Wow. It took me a few days to catch up with all the news(and recover from the weekend ). I come back to find a new trailer and a Steam download!

The RO preload is on my comp(12 hours on my crappy 35kb/s dsl ). And I'm going to preorder sometime this week probably and will post when I do.

Set up a deal to let the steam purchacers, purchace the CD version of the game at the same price. Most folks will do either/or...but not both. But if you had a deal like this, many would do it just to have the CD for a backup.(I know I would) Think about it, it still equals less money than the big money hungry publishing houses titles, and is a much better game.

hi there,

i made my brother log-onto my account in order to preorder the game for me, and he did, and i recieved a reciept regarding the succesful transaction, but the game won't appear under my games list. i used my browser to start the preloading but while i can preload it still hasn't registered my preordering.

help?

One more question. Can I start preloading at home, pause the preload, get someone to buy it for me from another computer, and then resume the preload when I get home? Or do you HAVE to pay either before of after the preloading?

There is a way to preload without paying, I just don't know how to do it. So you could use that method. Just log into your account at a different PC and pay from there.

The only place I've seen the preload button (preLOAD, not prePAY) is on the announcements window that pops up when Steam first starts. Try shutting it down and restarting it to see if the window will pop up again.

Out of my general sense of decency (and a morbid curiosity with all things unnatural) I've preloaded and preordered Ostfront using Cedega on my linux machine. I don't expect it to be very playable but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. Besides, after the hours of enjoyment that I've gotten from RO:CA I figure I should toss a few bucks to the devs. Congrats!
