Since the Steam servers are so busy I'd take that as a good sign! Good work Tripwire, of all the games I've preloaded I've never actually had that happen.

Trying to preload instead of patching the beta. By the time steam downloads the 4GB update (dunno why, other people say its 1.2GB), the game will be released.
