Yesterday evening i was playing in a 32 server.

layed down with my machinegun. I did nothing and was looking to
a direction where the enemies come from.

I got a hang, the sound was hicked up.

So, i made no movement and still got lag.

It`s a sound or/and memory matter i think.

as far as i'm concerned, it's always been about memory. i've said lots of time that my problem seemed to disapear when i added 8 gig to the 4 i had to start with. your mileage may vary.

I have 8gb ram and this still happens every time I fire on client-side ballistics calculation servers. Additionally it happens sometimes on servers that run server-side, but it's not 100% reliable.

It has happened and was reported prior to the introduction of client-side hit detection, there is no link.

phenom II x2 555 was @3.2 stock. now @3.7 didn't stutter at stock speed. still doesn't.

my in-game sound is set to high and 32 channels.

i used to have a sound problem, when the game came out. my sounds seemed to slowly get less and less. it would get to a point that all i could hear was my own footsteps and my own gun.
as i've said before, to anyone who would listen, my problems seemed to stop with the addition of another 8gig of memory. it was only like twenty-five or thirty bucks and ensured i'd never need to buy any more.
no one ever posted up as to whether adding memory helped them as well, so it's just possible that it was an update from twi that cured the problem.
as far as i'm concerned, 4 gig in win7 64, is not enough for the game. i just checked with a game running. grain elevator. no arty hardle any players (about twenty) and i was not in an area where there was a lot of gunfire happening. i was using just a bit over 3 gig of memory.

Do you mean;

A: You had no stutter, then overclocked your PC and experienced the stutter.

B: You had no stutter and after overclocking your PC have found there still to be no stutter.

So you've never experienced the stutter? But used to have a sound problem where the sound would slowly fade-out?
that's pretty much it, in a nut-shell. i do have the horrible mkb noise, when other people are using it. but i hardly consider it much of a problem. besides, i love the fact that i can track the guy using it down and silence it.;)

I just found, when the freeze ends, decals appear.

Prior to that there are NO decals created from your weapon! Everyone who gets the stutter on the PPSH, AVT or MG34. Test this, you will find the same thing. Can someone PM Yoshiro or someone about this, I'm pretty certain it's to do with decals. Maybe if they were switched to client-side?

I am sorry mrhello,

I am dutch and don`t understand what you are meaning.


I also get miliseconds hangs during a game. The sound and
the movement hangs.

I must record it, that`s better explainable.

I can remember i lied down with my mg and i did nothing.
I was only looking strait forward. Even on such a moment i get a hang.

I also noticed inconsistencies regarding decals showing up.
