Poundamonium! for perk leveling

Did some long beginner/normal poundamonium runs with 3-4 players, it was hilarious & challenging. Pipebombs and money everywhere! :)

First wave is always a pain in the arse and level 5-6 perks are MUST.

Thankfully, it gets easier after wave 1 and it's easy to get over 0.5M demo exp in a single 10-wave game, just by planting loads of pipebombs and occasionally spamming some 40mm grenades.


Anyone else done this? It's fun! :D

If I do feel like soloing for xp, I usally go westlondon, long, bloat mut. I get around 20-40K damage per wave. Sure it's about .1-.3 mill of damage per 10 waves, but it is easy and fun to avoid being killed by the vomit.

Do it on hard mode by yourself.

You get easily .7mil each time.

If you do it on suicidal it's about 1.2 mil and you'll level in no time.

Are the FPs in Pandamonium that hard? The only time I ever used or been apart of that mut was on a 100 player server on release........and you can guess that it didn't go so well :D

Personally, I find solo play on a coop game such as KF boring.

This is for fun and it is quite effective for damage perk, especially demo, leveling as well...
massive amounts of fleshpounds + pipebombs everywhere + 100% ff = chaos :D

Yea I did that once.
Everyone was freaking out in round 1 while I was 1 shotting them with the LAR.
Fun times. Ended up with 100.000 money.

False...it can be done earlier. I don't know about every perk, but a SS can definitely do it sooner with nothing more than the 9mm...though I suppose that just continues to show how op SS is right now :rolleyes:

Even with a 9mm the FPs don't stand a chance. At least, that's on Beginner anyway. I bet that's how everyone got their "Pound This" achievement. Not quite practical to run up to FPs firing your AA12 when the SS drops him in 1 bolt.

... i just got over 2 million damage for my demoman yesterday with poundamonium on hard, went from level 3 to 6 in under an hour, thanks for reminding me of this mut... ;)

Are you all playing on Doom2 or such leveling maps or is it just me?

How the hell can you get past wave 1 with poundamonium on hard on any official map?

Kiting...only hit one at a time, don't ever...EVER get into melee range with any of them, even if you're just running by. Once you're within a certain range their enrage becomes armed. Once armed it can be used, and if you're kiting, they're now going to run you over.

Use the entire stage if you have to. Try to funnel them all into one pack. When I did as a level 4 SS, I did it on foundry, and kited them across pretty much the entire stage, including all 3 floors, before I finally killed them all.

I am SS lvl 6 and i tried it with xbow on westlondon, but they come from all sides, i can only survive until some of them begin to rage and rape me^^

Run away until they're all behind you, then pick them off.

ok i did the first wave now as ss and then switched to demo until wave 4 where they raped me.... i am lvl 4 demo now and got 0.1 but it is very hard imo

how do you get through wave 1? I'm level 3 on everything but I can't get trough wave 1 EVEN ON NORMAL! . Well.. I did it once, after wave 1 it gets really easy.

Stay out of their sight can keep them calm. So, if you are not a Sharpshooter, farm will never be a good map for this mut. If they enrages, good luck with that...

Get a Level 5 perk so you start with a weapon...

Sharpshooter, once leveled to 6, gets the Crossbow, which absolutely owns them...
