I noticed the stalker writings too but knew they were from wyre. When I press use on the manolantern, I can't hear the audiolog either, what's wrong?

Non-related: They changed the way the xbow aims now!

hmm, I'd never seen that writing before now.
I didn't find anything any sound recording a the lantern either, are you sure it wasn't a trader message?

Maybe try it on a listen server.

I do wonder what the "I am messing with you" part is all about. :confused: I also had a go at getting the potato today. No luck. I do wonder exactly what we're going to get if we get to the end of this. I hope it's not totally exclusive or anything. I'd also like to know if when the ARG is over, would ARG-related achievements be taken down and not count anymore? Jester summed up my concern a few pages back.

Anyway, this is pretty exciting, I'd like to see this kind of thing done again, but maybe for being only in KF for KF in the future. This whole thing makes me think I'm in Silent Hill rather than KF somehow... :p

When it says the stuff about planets and suns, I think it is talking about pluto. 'Cause it mentions makebelieve, and pluto is a fake planet. But i don't know of any pluto references in KF :( so maybe not.

If you have someone stand on one of the red buttons, it opens a room with a weldable hatch - you have to kneel to weld it. It leads to a room a message. Any ideas?

In Aperture map there's a room behind some of the glass walls which, at the end-door there's text on the wall which reads "Do not open!" over and over again.
All of the doors that lead into that room are yellow, our team couldn't figure out how to open yellow doors.

Upon spectating you can go through the doors, however you can't go through the door which reads "Do not open!", however you also can't spectate through the Tubes in the Red-Button Doors. The game teleports you, rather than uses door mechanics; So perhaps going through (Assuming it's possible) the Do Not Open door teleports you somewhere?

Also, near the start of the map - Just past that ... wall of cubes, or whatever there's a trader door; That trader is the only one that has the Companion Cube inside of it.

Side note you get a potato on your profile for every login page you find and enter the right password on. I just find this out after visiting my steam profile.

I opened the map in Unrealed.
They yellow doors indeed are movers, but there are no Path Nodes inside, so it's hard to say if you're supposed to get in there.
Somehow I doubt that.

Furthermore, there's nothing behind the door with the writings.
(Well, there's a trader behind it, but it can't be entered from this side)

There is an easy way to see what is behind the yellow doors. Go to the Killing Floor map editor and open up the new Aperture map. At this point you can navigate to the area behind the doors. If there is anything in there, this will show you. You might have to click on some of the volumes or actors to display what they do, but that is my suggestion. i would do it but don't have currant access.

Ground out 3 more potatoes today. We got tired of using the same map the third time, and decided to give Candlesmoke a try. It worked, and was a great deal more interesting than grinding on a map such as Bioticslab. We accumulated over 80'000 euro's throughout the story.

Note: be sure to give the potato purchaser all of the money well before reaching the trader at the end. 1:30 isn't a lot of time to move 70 euro's.
