I'm heading out to the Salton Sea again this Saturday with one of my Flickr groups. I still haven't finished processing some of my shots from last time in Jan '09.

As to what the "Slain Dragon" is - it's an old trailer / caravan deteriorating into the salty mud. Click on the image to see the Flickr page, and I have a link to an older shot someone took of it, where it's still in some type of shape.

I've never made it out to the Salton Sea, but after watching a bit of the John Waters documentary about it, I'm both intrigued and creeped the hell out.
