Some people in here have made threads about your stupid moments in RO2, your best moments, your longest shot, etc..... so I figured I'd add to the list and create a thread for members to vent themselves over situations when someone or a group of people really annoyed you in the game.

I'll start with my only experience at this time:

A few days ago, I was playing on Pavlov's House. There weren't many players on the map at the time and there were a number of bots. One player was on the Russian team and two people on the German side, myself included.

I started playing like I normally do, picked commander and went up to the top floor of the building with the radio, looking across towards the Jan Square.

I decided to practice with my long range shots with the semi auto and just killing time until more people showed up, when about 3 minutes into the match, I get shanked in the back by a team mate. (I won't mention his name)

I thought to myself "Ok, that was obviously deliberate, wtf is his problem?"

I then spawn and there's the same player right there beside me to gun me down.

I then typed "wtf is your problem?"

The Response?

"You're Team Stacking"

I checked the scoreboard and it was still 2 humans against 1, so how the hell do you un-stack that?

I then spawned again and there he was trying to lob anti-tank grenades at me, so I unloaded my P38 into his head, the little fk'r.

I decided to carry on with the game and get some distance from me and the spawn area. I found a nice little spot to continue playing my game, this time I decided to spawn as an AT-Class.... 2 minutes later, this idiot comes around the corner trying to shoot me again, so I drove an AT round into him, dropped him and then moved location again.

At this point I figured he was following where I was in spectator mode while waiting to spawn, so no matter where I went, he was going to follow.... so I disconnected so that my TK's were not recorded.

I waited a minute or so, then reconnected to the server again (all others at the time were either full or had a high ping) and joined on the Russian side.

I start to play the game again as I normally do..... and then that tool switched teams to come chase me down again to lob more AT-Grenades and Shooting at me..... team stacking didn't seem to phase him in this regard as now all three of us were on the same team.

So he rounded the corner and I shot him again...... moved location, expecting him to come at me again..... shot him again..... and again....

Then I decided to climb up to the attic area of the Russian's buildings next to Jan Square for some more long range shots..... then I heard a Russian below me panting and saying "..... I'm spent" knowing this was a human player nearby.

I looked down the ladder and sure enough, it was the same dork coming after me again..... he passed the other human player who was looking out the window by the stairs and he started to climb up after me yet again...... he then drew out his weapon and took aim at me again.... so I gunned him down again.

For a intentional TK'er, he sure did suck since he didn't kill me since the first two times.... which would explain why he wasn't going for actual enemies, as the bots would have chewed him up.

At this stage I lost interest of this and left.

So what's your story??

I can only remember, when I have still played the beta, killed the same guy about 8 times in a row, altough he tried to attack me from different spots, including the Maxim machine gun in the building 180 meters away
But then he changed the teams, and as a fellow Russian he stabbed me with his bayonet, and then typing "Die! " in the chat.
He seemed like a very nice player :IS2:

That story makes me depressed... I hoped that most of those "types" had left the game already
My story is nothing in comparison however, it was just me in a full 64 person game at Pavlov's house. This was my first time on the map, so I decided to take up position in the tall building by Axis spawn and snipe (without a scope) Some guy came up and shot me with his semi-auto. I went to the same spot (A habit I try to avoid) and he tked me again. Luckily, my game disconnected before I could bring out my frustration

Every time I miss a shot because the guy that was sprinting towards me started "dancing" around.
Every time I'm forced to pick the PPSh with stick mags because the progression system doesn't allow historical accuracy.
Every time my bullet doesn't register.
Every time I shot a SMG'er in the arms with my bolt rifle and he kills me as if nothing had happened.

i too had a similar tk experience where i got backstabbed by a "team mate". I asked him to explain himself repeatedly for a few minutes, mostly to embarass him in front of his clan mates, then executed him nkvd-style to even things up.

TLs who play on Barracks and repeatedly respond to requests that they use arty with, 'there isn't any on this map - it's a server setting.'

All the while, the enemy TL is spamming arty on your heads.

Picture only shows running with an LMG - not running and gunning... If there is a follow up picture where he is on top of 30 bodies and took an entire fortified position by himself then we have our proof...

Agreed. You pretty much summed it all up for me.

Getting killed in a unrealistic manner is just really frustating.

If I play battlefield, cod, red faction, medal of honor it doesn't really matter, because then I just adapt my playstyle to that. But when I play a tactical shooter and notice that tactical, realistic style of gameplay is optional, and that It's more efficient to play the game like you were the son of Rambo the point of playing the game in a tactical manner becomes lost since it wont be awarding. Rather the other way around. Those who play aggressive win and those who tend to be more carefull and plan their approaches wont even be able to do anything before the lockdown timer makes them lose.

Tonight. Some bugger called CODERED kept killing me. Every time I spawned he killed me. No-one else killed me all game. I never killed him once (but I did kill about four of his team mates, in between him killing me). He must have gotten at least 15 kill points off me that game.

Virtually every one of the pictures from that thread was as staged as all hell. Notice that in every second picture someone is pointing at something in a dramatic fashion.

About half the (Russian) marines in one pic are covering where their PPSh mags should be - because they're on an exercise and don't even have magazines for their weapons. Still great pics, but no more proof that that's how LMGs were actually used than footage from Rambo 3.

The handful of photos from the era that were taken by combat photographers (who were first and foremost soldiers) are much more chilling and stand out very clearly. Most of these photographers were censored by the armies they were attached to, so we don't have that many genuine combat images from some theatres of WW2.

Dont bring your personal gripes in here.... these are not grief moments, they are aspects of the game you dont like rather than grief monents in the game...and if you dont like it dont play.

BTW... same applies for bolt action players who sit outside the cap and dont atack.

Those that complain about Lockdown...yet sit back and dont attack.

Those that take commander and do jack ****.

Those that take SL and do jack ****.

All those that dont attack except for Snipers and commanders....

Bolt actions are for defenders only.

Well the whole idea that he is in front of the guy with PPSH and probably the rest of his squad is quite of a proof, usually the MG'ers should be somewhere in the windows or behind sandbags, all the way behind their comrades.
