since my phils and flyers both came so close but had to settle for 2nd in the MLB and NHL championships this year, i felt the urge to revive a picture honoring Philly greatness as 2008 Wold Series champs.......took this with my camera in the bottom of the 6th inning of the decisive game 5 at Citizens Bank Park. truely one of the coolest experiences ever. :)

hitting a ball coming at you 95mph 400ft. with a 33" stick is one of the greatest feelings of athletic accomplishment one could ever experience in their life....not to mention that most experts have commonly accepted that it is one of the most difficult feats to do in all of sports. so yes, that's why it's the American Pastime and why i love my Phillies :)
