Post Your Airsoft Field Gear Loadouts

As far as side arms go, I have quite a few options. If I wanted a WWII homage, I could choose the C96 Mauser which I believe TM manufactures.

I've never seen an airsoft version of the VP70, any pics?

I don't think Marui makes a Broomhandle.

HFC does though. I have one. ****ed it up somehow, something internal must have broke.

Here's a few from games in Maryland, USA.

Picture 1: At the local field, they have a valley with two big hills. They are setting up dual-D-Day scenarios with a bunkerline on the top of each hill. Great field with some awesome action.
Picture 2: Same field but in a regular stretch of woods. My friend is in the foreground (he had a massive afro at the time and used a stocking cap to keep it all in, hence the weird shape of his head) and I am in the background taking aim at 2 guys and hitting them both.

3: Just more of the field gives you a better view. The gun pictured is a custom AUG-90. It's a gun that two of my teammates made out of an AUG and a P90, they morphed the two guns together and put a custom 40mm grenade launcher on the front.

That field looks great, unfortunately here in Northern Virginia, all we have is a CQB center and that's it. I desperately want to play outdoors, but haven't had the opportunity yet.

About $200 at Redwolf. Decent gun from what I've heard. Thankfully, trigger pull is significantly lighter than the real thing.

You'll be fine, i've delt with them myself, as have most everyone in the danish Airsoft community at one time or another, and they are good to go, no problems, and good service too.

You get used to buying in Taiwan, there's just so much great stuff we never get here in the west, and the prices just can't be beat, so its the way to go.

I just ordered the UHC copy of the TK VP myself, after hearing from reliable sources it was made with TK and is of just as good quality. I also put in an order request for a metal slide and barrel kit from Dentrinity yesterday, but they haven't E-mailed me back yet.

Right now, I'm working on getting a German WWII Heer (Army) style ACU camouflage uniform together. I already have the M43 ACU field cap, my German Army M42 style tunic in ACU camouflage is in the mail now. I'll definitely post pics once I get it!

Now all I will need is an STG 44 and I have a pseudo modern day German occupied American uniform, heh.

I don't know where you get your ideas Polygon, but all of those do sound damm great.

I am planning to get Russian WW2 impression some day, but I thought that "what if I try to get RE3 merc style gear?".

Still need to figure out what to do.

I have so many kits at the moment it's difficult to choose between them. I was thinking if I had the funds, I'd get a Shoei MP44 and use it with my Russian M32 tactical vest + gear and M42 German helmet with an ACU cover. It'd be kind of neat seeing an alternate history U.S. Army ACU uniform where Nazi Germany eventually conquered the United States during WWII and heavily influenced our uniforms to the present day (think Jin Roh).

What would also be cool in regards to a Russian kit would be a Metal Gear Solid merc style uniform with the Fall camouflage BDU and padded helmet.

Lastly, I finished painting my Tokyo Mauri M16A1 with an OD tiger stripe pattern and general combat wear.

Great Heer EM uniform there.

If it were me, I would do a RE4 Hunk impression. At least you would get better access to the latest weapons as opposed to searching for an airsoft PPSH 41 .

VSR works as a great substitute for Mauser and Mosin. Sure it's far from both visually, but the idea of bolt-action ftw.

But yeah, RE4 HUNK would sound beter. Besides, I could borrow my brother's MP7 as TMP substitute

But besides getting few items to my Heer impression, modifying few and replacing some substitute ones (like getting a "straight" E-tool instead of foldable E-tool, or atleast correct foldable E-tool) I am ready to go with HUNK. Practically overcoat, a field bottle\canteen\whatever, new helmet (my current one has liner seriously fubared, but that explains why it was so damm cheap (and getting new helmet is cheaper around here than getting new liner), even though the shell is decent) and such.

But after HUNK (I dunno, some reason I write it in caps) impression I might go for that Soviet one

Ofcourse if you have the money to burn, KTW does make a Mosin!

I would really like one, but 10.000 Dkr,- is a bit stiff for a manual spring rifle with fixed hop unit.
