Yes, despite the name, there is a lot of open ground and heathland. There are lots of areas of dense forest, but thats clearly not as good for views of rambling around

Also, "Ashdown Heath" doesn't sound as good

The host of the comedy show 'Travel Sick' says that the vast majority of people bit by Horn Vipers in the Dutch countryside are "German Ramblers". He then caught one of the snakes and painted ACHTUNG! on its' back in bright red letters, in hopes of saving some of those "German Ramblers.
