Yup. If you can pledge and want to do so, now is the time. Any extra money is helpful.

Glad they reached the target, really hope it comes to fruition now.

I guess I'll see. Assuming it goes somewhere. I was charged already... and there is always the possibility that they will take my (and others) money with good intentions, but end up running out of funds without releasing a game.

But if it goes smoothly, I will have access to the Alpha/Beta builds. The next thing this game needs are SWAT/old Rainbow 6/Red Orchestra fans joining the forums. A lot of SOCOM/PS3 players there who are backers. SOCOM was nice, but I much preferred the gameplay of SWAT/Raven Shield.

If you join and post your views and push for more PC based features and SWAT/R6 style gameplay, the game will turn out great.

What engine is this game being made on? For me there are far too many unknowns to even consider donating to this project, even though his cause is just.

Cryengine 3 or Unity is what they were looking at. Whatever engine they choose it must be mod friendly according to Allen.

You can't donate anymore though, unless they start an additional kickstarter or take donations elsewhere.

I agree, it is a bit ambiguous, and I am kind of wishing I didn't pledge myself. But I've been charged, so I'll see how it is. I just really want a new SWAT 4/Raven Shield type of game. RvS is a bit dated, and SWAT 4 constantly crashes on me to the point I have not even installed it since I got Win 7.

Turns out Robert Bowling, who recently quit Infinity Ward/Activision was the 7,500$ pledge. Way to earn my respect back.

Wow really? I'm surprised he quit ... I thought he was a major douchebag lol. Nice of him to donate ... it seems the most encouraging aspect of this project is that the developers are all professionals.
