Very nice :)
The Half track is a M3A1 with the 50 cal "pulpit". See attached image.
If'n it were in game, I'd remove the 30 cal, and back racks, otherwise it has 4 LODs that would need aditional tweaks. Be a good command vehicle for a mobile radio.

The driver is pretty exposed. Having a 30 calibre machine gun mounted on that side protects him a bit more. Being another target to shoot and something shooting enemies on the drivers more vulnerable side.

The M3 could have two 30s mounted on either side as well as a 50 calibre gun. Though it wasn't very bullet proof but shh. The M5 was but that was more lend lease.

I actually would prefer the M5 with a pintle mount Ma Deuce over the M3A1 for an "in-game" vehicle. IMO, the 2 extra 30's were a waste, just like on the LCVPs and sides of the Stuart.

I would prefer an M5 as well but it's shocking how few the U.S. actually used. 5000 were made. Most of them went to the British commonwealth over half. 1,200 were sent to french forces and 500 went to russia. Not to mention the other users. The Americans themselves probably only used around 500 of them.

Quad mounted M2s. That would be amazing.

An extra machine gun in game would be more effective than an extra machine gun irl. Accuracy you see.

I'm just worried about the driver getting sniped all the time. Unless we give him bullet proof windows.

The driver side on this half track model has the armor plate folded down onto the door.

I'll play with it this weekend and see what can be done, and what needs to be done. I promised myself not to start any new projects, but this princess is just too damn tempting to leave alone :)

I believe our main focus should be the half-track & Type 95. The M5 stuart would be too much work for us currently, it doesn't have interior. The half-track model is more or less done, however it needs to be rigged, UV mapped, tweaked, and textured. I think it will make the game more interesting, also this would help out the HotW team quite a bit.

Say guys, what are we going to do with the Ha-Go's second machine gun?

The drivable model has a space for it, but it's not actually there.

If I'm correct the type 95 has 3 crew members, and only one in the turret. Which means that the machine gun either should be left out in terms of functionality or added later on if possible. It would also obviously mean that it can only be fired if the commander is only using the machine gun. Definitely not a priority though.
Anyways just got word from Raven, he said this:
I don't really remember what was in the license agreement, but I believe I can do anything I want with them since I paid for them.
The models are also still sold separately at turbosquid.com
I think it’s easily over 15 years ago.

I remember the deespona website back then. One of the owners wanted to sell all the models to a modelbank, but one of the other owners did not agree , they split up and one of them released the entire model bank on a set of 9 cd’s.

I have the originals right here if anyone ever asks you where you got the models.

But If you ask me the quality of the models is not that great anyway.. I would remodel them…
they are definitely not up to my quality standard

Yeah, you're right. It's better to just forget about it.

However, it also has no coaxial machine gun. Is it possible to speed up the cannon reload to compensate? The animation is already faster than the reload timer.

I think that would be a good compensation. Especially if the animations are already faster.

I was wrong by the way. The US anti-tank skin DOES work.

The uniform just needs to be set to USMC, it's apparently not set up for Army and Marauders.

Too bad he only has a carbine and nothing else.

There is an Army variant of the American AT soldier which heroes of the west got to work. Doesn't have that vest though.

Yeah, the Marauders skin has a tube thingy, but it doesn't work straight out of the box.

But class recognition does!

My apologies. I could of severly injured your fingers with that quote as you would have to use your finger to spin your scroll wheel an entire extra turn drastically increasing the chances you breaking your scroll finger by excess scrolling. Lucky I edited it. Someone else could have the same fate. Death by scrolling.

I know right! Think of the all people we've spared from massive medical bills! But seriously, it's just basic forum etiquette.

On topic, anyone know how to manually set a tank path? I think it's possible to set specific positions for it to go to, because right now it thinks it's a person and keeps trying to go through doors.
