the japs (and I) allready stole the M41A...and thats copyrighted aswell. So yeah, screw it. lol :p

well, another reason they arent released is because we are going to be trying to get more traffic on our servers soon, and we want to keep it all in house for now, i didnt say that before because i didnt want to sound like a selfish prick... so sorry guys.

i will talk with my partner and see what he thinks.

i didnt even tell him about advertising the mg's on here yet.

i already looked at the chaingun code, and it isnt what i want, but i should have this done by tomorrow, i'm getting closer and closer to it working, its mostly about taking out code i dont need, and making functions that replace the ones it calls for that arent in kf, but needs them to work.
the mg34, mg42, and browning 30cal will overheat.
maybe the dp28 too, but im not sure.
once i get the overheating working, i will increase the damage for them.
i still dont know why the anims disappear after throwing nades (mg42 wont appear until u fire, which is odd)
but i'm not too worried about those things right now, i can figure those out after i make this release, and after i get feedback from testing.
btw, the damtype deagle doesnt do penetration, but i was able to modify shotgunbullet for it, but then it disable the fireloopsounds (i test it on mg42) so i'm just thinking if its worth that much trouble, i will make a version with penetration later, just for ppl to test,and if they really like that feature, then i will work on the sound problems and release a penetration version.


my next project after this will either be doing all the weapons from ro (unless slavek has done that already) or working on a "upgrade system" mutator.

support specialist gets:
mg42 = 1200rpm, 100rnd belt if i dont get the barreloverheat to work, 150rnd belt if i do, moderate recoil, damage=35,45
30cal browning = i dont know the rpm, its low, 250rnd belt, overheat will be slow, low recoil, damage=25

commando gets:
bren
bar
fg42
stats are up a few posts

field medic gets:
mg34 = high rpm (whatever .07 translates to), 50rnds if overheat doesnt work, 75 if it does, moderate recoil, alt fire heals, damage=50-65


edit, demolitions gets dp28, stats up above.
what do you guys think?

Doesn't make sense for the demo to get the DP28...

The medic shouldn't be getting an offensive weapon too :eek:

i figured demo should get dp28, cause his **** dont work in close quarters, and the mg34's single fire takes ammo from the healingcharge, which i couldnt figure out how to make it not do that, so i just gave it to medic.

so support gets 2 mg's, commando gets 3 lmg's, medic gets 1 mg, demo gets 1 mg.

or where should i put them? do that damage stats and stuff look ok?

cost effectiveness is whats important to me, i haven't played with them enough to determine exactly whats best balance-wise. If you plan on porting other RO guns, could you prioritize the AR/SMGs? PPSH ect, and the semi auto guns. The bolt actions just can't fire fast enough for killing floor - they'll end up like the current nagant - kinda novelty, fun to use, but not really strong enough to use regularly.
