Title says it all. The Darkest Hour team is coming out with portable mortars that use a gunner and spotter system, and judging by the tutorial they recently released, it looks very nice. Have you guys at TW considered adding such a system to HOS?
Let's see how the mortar system in DH works before introducing something similar to Heroes of Stalingrad. The Carpathian Crosses mortar system had the problem that high angle fire with high amount of propellant made the mortar bombs hit the map ceiling and therefore exploded there for no effect. I don't know if the developers of the Darkest Hour mod fixed that or not but if this particular problem is endemic to the Unreal-engine then it wont make sense to try to implement such weapons into RO games.
What about mortable portars?
