I'd rather see mutant enemies no doubt. As for what kind of specimen, I had some ideas : A kamikaze clot with a bomb on the back. It would look like a normal clot up front and it would explode on death or contact with a player, with a delay of 1 second in both case and some kind of give away signal.

Ghost enemies coming through welded doors I can live with. Ghost enemies coming through the walls is a bad plan, especially for maps like Bedlem with thin corridors, and chances are the first thing you'll know about a ghost is when it hits you.

Or if you're next to the wall, and are being hit by a ghost inside the wall... not good.

I wouldn't mind seeing more EWSB (or "enemies who shoot back") personally. Much as the husk is often the bane of my existance (well, after sirens and crawlers, heh) I do like that both he and the Patriarch give me reason to dive into cover and manage to be threatening from any distance unlike, say, a scrake who is only dangerous when he's close or when someone has pissed him off (and he's still not dangerous until he closes the distance).

I think this idea: Killing Floor - Fleshpound Chaingunners Mutator - YouTube

Could be re-used and polished. Maybe even coupled with the notion of a mid-game boss fight and sort of serve as a prelude to the Patriarch with his chaingun/rocketlauncher combo.

Animal!

Horzine was already trying to make supersoldiers for the government - why not engineered attack dogs? I'm thinking of a hairless wolf-like specimen with overdeveloped jaw musculature and a long tentacle-like tail. They'd be as fast as, or faster than a raging fleshpound, but have health roughly equivalent to a gorefast. They could have two attacks: a pounce that does minor damage similar to a crawler, and a bite to the leg that immobilizes the player for a few seconds, even if you are a berserker.

They would offer an immediate priority threat that is easily overcome but a real problem if you don't kill them on sight, a little "rush" for the players if you will. Maybe spawn them in packs of 3-6, and give them an AI that causes them to try and flank the player like the stalkers do.

I'd support an FP chaingunner, but only if he was rare and not all that strong in terms of attack or defense.

Husks and sirens are hellish enough as it is.

i like the idea of the mid game boss... or even a second Pat round, but with scrakes and FP's spawing
