Points toward perks not advancing

The points for increasing perks don't seem to be advancing as I play.

For example, I need 250 weld points to level up on Support and I'm at 153. No matter how may doors I weld (and how many specimens break through them), I'm still at 153. Same with my shotgun damage - I'm stuck at 2.3k of 5k.

Any fixes for this?

Are you playing solo, without an internet connection? Just a thought. Progress made when aren't on-line doesn't 'stick'.

Removing local files seemed to fix it...

Removing local files seemed to fix it...

I deleted local files and when new data were downloaded from the server, everything started working. Go figure.
