I would also like for the skin to be made available.

I was aware of the skin and the whole pre-order thing, but back then I didn't have my current gaming laptop. Back then, my computer could just barely run KF at 15 fps, and The Ball straight out would not run. I wanted to get the character, but I wasn't about to buy a game I COULD NOT PLAY just to get him.

The Ball was released in October of 2010 ; over 2 years of having an exclusive skin for buying a game is pretty good.
I mean, come on, people who bought KF Gold only got several month of an Ash exclusive.

I'm not saying the skin should just be GIVEN to everyone. No. I'm saying anyone who owns The Ball should get it. The character has remained exclusive for over two years, and making it so that just anyone with The Ball can get him would turn a lot of newer KF players towards getting The Ball. It's a win-win-win.

Or maybe just tie him to a certain achievement in the Ball, like how it was done for the Axe. IDK. Make it so getting hte character is possible, but not easy is all I'm saying.

I am completely against TW going against their word on those who already have him, but if in the instance that TW does break their promise they should have something related to the Halo Vidmaster Achievements, which were time consuming and had to be completed in different games. For instance: to unlock the skin you have to do strenuous challenges in both Killing Floor and The Ball

Wrong. They announced it was planned that it would be exclusive, but BEFORE IT WAS RELEASED and people payed money based on that promise, it was changed. Anyone who had pre-ordered could get a full refund.

HUGE difference. Different like surface of the sun and surface of Pluto different.

How about to remove Harchier Spebbington completely from the game for them, who don't have it. So if you have pre-ordered The Ball, you can continue to play this character, and see his model, if someone else is playing it.

If you don't have Harchier Spebbington, you don't see it in the character selection menu, neither in game. If somebody place this character, but you don't have it, you will see... let's say a Big Potato model.
Beside that, permamently delete all forum threads or posts that references to it - nobody should know that such character even exists. Problem solved.

** EDIT:
Damned, then players will want to buy a Big Potato model. But others will say that potato must be Ball pre-order exclusive too. This won't ever end...

Why is it a big deal that the character icon is there when you can't have the character? We'd really have Tripwire spend time "fixing" this non-issue for the people butthurt over not pre-ordering instead of spending that time on everything else people complain about or make constructive posts on? Pro tip: Advertising everywhere on both this forum and the steam forum that you're giving away free DLC isn't exactly the most honorable way to get members, and also means that only about 50% of your members actually want to keep Harchier exclusive. That's like Mitt Romney saying "Vote for me and you might get 20 million dollars".



I agree that Harchier Spebbington should be unlocked. I think the character is cool, but I was unaware of the The Ball preorder bonus. IMO, they should do what they did with RO2. Which means buying the Deluxe Edition of The Ball or upgrading to Deluxe gives you Harchier Spebbington.

This way, more people will buy The Ball, which means more money for TWI and would also make the people who want Harchier Spebbington happy.

If Harchier was released to anybody who owns the Ball post-release, it'd fix the problem. Not too sure on whether or not it should be a "deluxe" upgrade for whoever owns it already, but I don't feel bothered either way as I already have him ololo

I Agree! If the Ball gets a break through on sales, Let there be a Free Weekend for the ball that you can get Harchier If you buy OR Own it during the sale OR Make A Deluxe Version Of it and upgrade the guys who have the ball with Harcher! [And a few bonus lvls.]

I fully understand that rares are rare.
Sales from Ash Harding went to a veteran charity, so maybe have a charity event where X% of sales from The Ball goto say an education charity between date a and b. During the event Harchier Spebbington could be unlocked again. TWI benefites, a charity benefits, a much larger percent of KF players benefit then not (players without Harchier vs. players who have him). Just a thought.

I personally don't have Spebbington, not to upset about it but if it was available I would get the ball. I think this is the fourth or fifth thread I have seen on the topic which means a good junk of people would buy the The Ball just for the character. IMHO if I was TWI I would go ahead and do a weekend event simply because of the amount of money they would get

For anyone complaining about its suppose to be rare, I think increasing the amount of days its available by 2(Just a weekend) would still keep the character pretty rare
