It involves allowing resolutions such as 3860x1024 or 5040x1050 and providing the option for the correct extra widescreen aspect ratio of 4:1

(as opposed to 4:3 or 16:9 for a widescreen).

It's also an added touch if on those resolutions, the HUD displays on the centre screen.

yeah I don't like that lol, on the counterstrike video you can clearly see the screen distorting on the sides and everything. I don't see how anyone could like playing like that.

Well, guys, that looks poor on youtube.
BUT! In Real life there are 3 monitors side-by-side... And that is amazing!

And yeah, I dont have such configuration anyway so a good HOR+ support for wide-screen will be enough for me!
