Please Help! runing a dedicated server, It download a file called "kf_gore_trip_sm"

Please! I have a dedicated server, today I Update my server to the 1016 version, but when I want to enter, It download a file called "KF_GORE_TRIP_SM", wich I already have, also, on the descrpition of the server, shows that I still have the 1014, but, I was using the 1015 before I update to 1016, any helP?

save all the necessary configuration files such as killingfloor.ini and do a fresh reinstall. Should give you the most upto date files (1016).

at each update it's the same probleme

not all serveur is updated and we loss 1 day
time to admin come for update serveur...

may be tripwire ,can you make something for fix it
with a backup or way for remove new patch ,if anyone got mistake with it


one more time like all new patch
i cant play today "downloading kf_gore_trip_sm"
very slow 10k by 10k and each time downloading fail ......

Your problem is because you have to have the same version client as the server. If you don't it will try to download the different version file which is no good cause you'll have a version mismatch at end.

Solution is to make sure both is up to date.

He said it all. Make sure you're using the Steam Update for your server.

I get the mismatch and that same file start downloading, I have to go and manually launch Steam Update mod for one of my provider's and the Steam Update HLDS mod on my other.

That's because Killing Floor runs different between the patchs. The 'Engine' Mismatch is because a previous patch has not installed properly. You need to reinstall the patchs again so they fully install.
