I bought this game last Christmas. After i installed it, i played mulitplayer and had so much lagg. So then i tried Practice which requires NO internet connetion laggs just the same. I dont care if i dont play online even thought it sucks. I just want to play the practice mode at least. I want to play this game but i cant so now i wasted $20 of lagg.
IM LOOKING FOR ANSWERS

System Specs:

Dimesion 3000

510MB RAM
DirectX 9.0
Intel 82865G Graphics Controller
96.0MB

I have a very fast connection to the internet.

Your video card is out of date, and your RAM is a bit on the low side.
There doesn't seem to be a problem with your internet. And I'm gonna guess that you've tried messing around with the graphic options?

First, please be nice. "Help me fast" as opposed to "help me please" for a game you've had 10 months?

Second, search the forums for the "Tweak Guide."

Your video card isn't good, but neither is mine. What's probably killing you is the memory.

Also go to Intel.com, Product Center, and download newer video drivers. Then Google "DirectX" and download a small .exe from Microsoft, run it, and have it update your stuff.

Unfortunately it is true. While your CPU is fine, the amount of memory barely is enough and you really do need an actual video card (not the onboard video as you seem to have) to get decent enough play out of it. Otherwise you really need to tweak what you have to get it to play just ok. It is not the game, your current computer setup really isn't meant for decent gaming.

Of course, it has nothing to do with your internet connection....

As far as getting it last Xmas and asking in Oct for fast answers, that is a wee bit rude lol.

This actually the 5th or 6th time im asking for answers. They just never worked or just said screw it and dont check the forums again. The first time i asked for answers was a couple days before New Years.

What kind of graphics card would you consider that doesnt cost too much. Also how much RAM do i need just enough to play this game? Thanks i dont want to have to spend too much money just on a game fix. Give me some sites you consider for cheap prices.

Sorry, looking at your post count, you get the impression you just started posting very recently.

Just remember that any upgrading you do to your system can also benefit other games you wouldn't be able to play without the upgrade. It is not a fix for the game. :)

I always liked NewEgg, I seem to get the best selection, prices, and reviews there, not to mention excellent customer service (I had a bad stick of RAM, no hassle return)

I would say a total of 1 GB memory and a 128MB video card will get you decent performance. More is always better of course to be able to run on the higher and highest settings. And within that, there is a large variety of quality to choose from. Make sure you get the correct card for your system (AGP, PCI, etc etc) and the correct memory also!

well first mate, pop the side pannel off your computer box. now make sure you have a video card slot.
it should look like this (AGP)
http://pc.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/article/20000628/agp.jpg
or if your mobo is newer(PCIexpress / 16X)
http://www.rackmountpro.com/prodimages/pci-ex16.jpg (the green slot)
if you have neither of those (possible) you will need to get a poorer vid card that goes in one of these slots
http://www.hothardware.com/reviews/images/tualatin/pci_slot.jpg (the white slots)

while the case is open, also make sure you have extra slots for more ram.
to find out what speed the ram is you can either DL and run cpuz or just turn the computer off pull the ram out and look at the sticker on the chip, you have to buy the exact same stuff for it to work.

to get RO working nicely on your current rig you are going to want to upgrade to more then 1 gig of ram, and get a video card either better then a ATI 9500, or a nvidia 7300(or so). the ram and vid card should probably run you about 60$ for a 1 gig stick of ddr 400mhz ram(assuming thats what you probably have) and about 80- 125$ for the video card.

yeh like the others i'd recommend and upgrade to 1gb of ram and a decent ati card or even a Geforce 6800GT or something (should be dirt cheap by now). If you need any more advice on purchasing and installing there are lots of helpful people around so just keep posting we're here to help.
