Hello Tripwire,

as in the topic mentioned, i would really love to see an update especially for the Windows 7-Users.

The Game kinda...well, it's not a lag really, but sometimes i causes to freeze for a second and i can't do anything (or also even a "delay", like when i want to walk left, i keep walking left for 2-3 Seconds before i can walk straight on).

I tried to fix it with the registry keys, but it didn't worked...is it possible to bring out a patch/update for Win 7? Or is there already one?

Please let me know

Is this some kind of 'known issue'? As I recently moved to Windows 7 and have no problem with killing floor.

@ Panimu

The Problem isn't known i guess so far.

Okay, here is a little better explaining:

Imagine an old keyboard, where the buttons are a bit old, W A S D stucks sometimes when pressed and will snap back into it's normal position after 2 Secs. So I will move, even when the button isn't pressed. Also happens to the Fire-Button (Left Mousebutton), best to see when using Bullpup/AK47/SCAR or the Flamer.

And it can get REALLY nasty if you run into the FP, but not to hug him for sure...

I also tried this one from the forum: http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=41420http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=41420

Didn't worked, stupid Win 7...for a single-player (bad internet connection) it really sucks

Any idea though?

(Sorry for the Tons of Edits, became a little confused because of the link)

Hm, okay...

I might give it a shot today. Maybe it's the System, i got an Acer Aspire Predator (not that i want to boast or something).

Here are the System-Datas, maybe that will help:

Windows 7 (obviously)
Intel Core i7 CPU 870 @ 2.93 GHz 2.93 GHz
4 GB RAM
64 Bit
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460
Windows Service Pack 3

Ah, nevermind Guys! I just found out:

I went on KF, everything was as i mentioned, turned on VSYNC and Triple Buffering and it worked!

I bet that was more luck than knowledge.

Random freezing/stuttering in this game is a problem that very frequently comes up and people's solutions tend to be about as random.

Can I ask what kind of monitor and video card you have? I always assumed VSync only mattered for CRT screens.
