Agreed, the amount of kills you have to get with the pistol is absolutely ridiculous!

I've seen quite a few people using their pistols 24/7 in an attempt to unlock the upgrades quicker, this is definitely behaviour you don't want to encourage by having these unbelievably high requirements.

The upgrades seem to take a ridiculous amount of time for all the weapons. It seems like you have to main a class and weapon for about a month to get them.

Agreed! Too much unnecessary bloodshed. :D :D :D Umm... Not unnecessary, but too much. :D The pistol is for close quarters, for troops with long range main weapons. For example: Spartanovka. The only real CQB will in the town hall. But thats some little minutes. You will die in the first second (then change role if you can), or take it without a gunshot. (Thats my experiences) The pistol reqs are horrible, especially, that there is an achievement, that requires 32 SILENCED kills. But you have to kill more than a thousand with the revolver, to get the silencer... :(

Yeah, I think they're a bit silly and they should be reduced considerably.

And when I get the Mauser C96, I will never not use that thing. :IS2:

Bolt action rifle is actually one of those guns that are not too bad to level.

Automatic weapons require you to kill the entire opposing team couple times over though.

This is especially painful if you actually want to play more tactically and play on 32 or 48 players server where kills are lot less common. So I think it's fair to say that lowering kill requirement for everything by 33% (66% or more for pistols of course) isn't a bad idea.

It can be a solution, that the weapon stats are tracked in single player too. In single player, you can achieve much more kills, and If you do it before multiplayer, you will face the enemy with better weapons, and improved handling. If you're s**k at all, you can't kill anybody with a fully tuned weapon. But at least you have a chance to play with the tuned weapons.

Guys, the stats are meant NOT to be maxed, so only the veteran should get the updates. And it's fine for me.

But a single player bought the game like a veteran multi player. So he may want to enyoy the whole game, without veterans and noobs, or without entering multi player. I hope you can understand what I mean.

Meant to be maxed or not, people will try it so you'll see lots of pistol-toting nabs ruining matches since it's the only way to level them that doesnt take 10 years with normal gameplay that rarely uses them.

Yes, they need to be lowered, as well as many other things need to be done to them, specifically regarding the TT33 and C96 having "Call of Duty" balanced-stats instead of being realistically represented. But that, is another topic.
