Unfortunately console command didn't work either. It briefly showed connecting to server screen with "Paused" typed in blue and then returned to main menu. It seems my game just won't recognise the server.
In fact when I look at server list in-game I am surprised at how few non-European servers it shows, usually just around 10 in the 150+ ping range. I am sure there must be more than that, is there some sort of built-in filter that screens the geolocation of server and discards the ones there is to far away from player? (edit: Now that I think about probably not, because I remember seeing a Japanese server with 400+ ping on the list, it's just weird that there's so few).
I get lots and lots of European servers, so it is not that I am lacking on places to play.
